What To Do About Stretch Marks?

Here are a few things I have found out that people are doing to reduce their stretch marks:

NATURAL APRICOT SCRUB

Apricot scrubs have helped a lot of women who are concerned regarding what to do about stretch marks. What To Do About Stretch MarksThey would probably help men too, but all the accounts I’ve read about are from women. It is best to do it naturally, and not to buy the process apricot scrub. You can make it yourself,  You need to save the pits from a lot of apricots.

You may not know this, but the pit has seeds, or kernels, inside it. Along with the pulp, they are very good for skin in general, and for reducing stretch marks, in particular.  Cut several apricots in half and take out the pits.Cut open the pits to reveal the kernels. Put the kernel n a blender and grind them into a  powder, but not too fine.

Then you will need to puree one of the apricots from which you got the pits. Mix three tablespoons of puree with one teaspoon of kernel powder, very thoroughly. You will then have an all natural apricot scrub with none of the toxic chemicals that come in the store bought products.

Apply it to your skin with your fingertips, using circular motions. If you do not feel the kernel powder, you may not have enough of it. Mix in more. If you still don’t feel it, you  blended it too much.

After several minutes of working the scrub into your affected skin area, you can stop and just let it be for about fifteen to twenty five minutes. Then you can rinse it off. As with most any stretch mark treatment, you need to be diligent and do this three times a day, unless otherwise instructed not to.

EGG WHITES

What To Do About Stretch MarksThis one is too messy and too much fuss for me, but a lot of people who are proactive regarding what to do about stretch marks, are raving over egg whites. No, not after boiling eggs or scrambling them, Raw egg whites.  Here’s the drill:

Separate the yolk from the white part of an egg. If you can’t stand the thought of wasting perfectly good food, scramble some eggs and use the extra yolk to make your eggs extra yummy.

Dip you fingers into the container of egg white and rub the viscous liquid all over your affected area, or areas. Rub it in very well and leave it to dry. It should be on your for at least ten to fifteen minutes. Then rinse it off with warm water and a towel.  As per all the protocols, unless otherwise instructed, this should be done 3 times a day.

If you don’t like the fuss, you  can buy egg white powder, but if it is processed, then you will be rubbing chemicals into your body. Also, keep in mind, the powder creates more of a mess that can spill onto your carpet or furniture, etc., since it does not dry, like the egg white does.

Eggs are packed with protein and essential amino acids. Skin thrives on such ingredients. In fact, they are building blocks for skin and other bodily tissue.

What To Do About Stretch Marks?

EMU OIL

What To Do About Stretch MarksEmu oil is proving to be a special kind of essential oil. It has far reaching health benefits, including wound and burn healing, pain relieving, skin benefits and possibly immune system support. Many people have glowing reports about it, in connection with reducing stretch marks. I am so impressed with it that I sell it HERE with my highest recommendation.

Some readers who are here because they want to know what to do about stretch marks, might rather I not tell them the following. Unlike the vast majority of essential oils, Emu oil is not plant based. Many people know that an Emu is a large bird indigenous to Australia, but a lot of people don’t. Even those that know, may not have made that connection that Emu oil is actually from the Emu bird.

A lot of people have ethical issues with killing animals, especially when it’s not for food. Of course many people, myself included do not like to think of animals slaughtered even for food. If like me, you are not, or not yet, a strict vegan, you may consider using Emu oil, since the birds are farmed for food anyway.

Of course, the majority of people who are trying to figure out what to do about stretch marks have no qualms about this, so I”m speaking to the minority here. One of these days, I will probably end up being a vegan, myself, and when I do, I will think of the Police song, Synchronicity, that says, “When you act as you think, the missing link…”

Anyway, it’s best to get pure Emu oil and rub it into the surrounding shin of all your stretch marks, two or three times daily. This is something you want to soak into your skin and stay there, so you will not be rinsing it off.

Emu oil has a lot of the essential fatty acids that the body, including your skin needs, but can not produce.  It also has palmtric acid which is shown to stimulate skin cell growth. In addition it has vitamin E, which is also good for skin and is a necessary catalyst for the body to be able to utilize the fatty acids and the palmtric acid.
